Over vs Iceberg

Iceberg prices only its $25,000 account on its own site, so this page compares $25,000 accounts.

How each one works

Iceberg sells instant funded accounts priced on Hyperliquid. No evaluation, no profit target. You trade for up to 90 days.[1] Over is an instant-funded perpetual prop firm for stock and crypto perps, with one target. Hit it and you're paid in full.

Where Over is ahead

  • Less than half the fee: $357 against $767 for $25,000.[1]
  • Your whole payout at once, within 24 hours of approval. Iceberg pays 1% to 5% at a time, every 5 days.[1][2]
  • Stocks and crypto perps, with no trading fees.[3]

What you pay, and what it takes to get paid

Iceberg charges $767 once for $25,000. It's instant funded too, with no target. Payouts start after 5 days, come every 5 days, and each one is 1% to 5% of the account.[1] Over charges $357 once for $25,000, less than half. It's instant funded, with no evaluation. You make 8% ($2,000) in realised profit within 120 hours, across at least 5 sectors, and the whole payout comes at once, in USDC within 24 hours of approval.[3][2] No 5-day wait between payouts, no 5% cap on each one.

How you fail

Iceberg has a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% maximum loss.[1] Over's floor is static, 5% below your $25,000 start, at $23,750, and its daily limit is also 3%, $750, from each day's opening balance.[3] Iceberg's 6% line gives more room overall.

Two example 120-hour runs on a $25,000 account. White is the balance, the iridescent line is Over's floor, and red is Iceberg's limits. On a calm run Over's floor sits higher, because it starts 5% below you. On a winning run with one bad day, a daily limit can end the run while you're still up. Over's floor stops at your start, so it can't. Iceberg's pages don't say which balance the 3% daily limit is measured from, so the chart draws it 3% below each day's starting balance.

How you get paid

Iceberg pays 80%. Your first payout comes after 5 days, then every 5 days, and each request is between 1% and 5% of the account. Payouts are USDC from an onchain pool.[1] Over pays 80% of the target once, or 90% with the upgrade, in USDC on Solana within 24 hours of approval.[2]
